I'm reopening my blog for several reasons.  I want to reconnect and share several things with you.  I'm still coaching for Beachbody and enjoying it but pretty low key with it.  We're try to build our business after. Slower year than we'd like.  I want to also share with you the things I've found that help make my daily life easier.  I'll be sharing product reviews and recommendations right here!  I'll also be sharing some videos about what's working for me to turn my health and weight around.  And whatever you're interested in hearing about - let me know!

What does a coach do? Why would I even want one?

Coaches like me, Yvette, do a variety of activities to support our goals in health & wellness and support our clients and families.

I focus on people who are ready to commit to a program of at least 21 days of dialed in, simple nutrition and simple workouts that take 30 minutes a day at home.  I can coach any level, but I find if you are ready & willing, it's going to be a lot more successful than if you are still waiting to see if anything other than eating right & exercising will get the weight off.  If you realize wishing and hoping aren't going to work, we can do a lot more together for you!

Personally, I take a whole body approach to health - I believe food is healing & a provision for us from God that a lot of us haven't really learned about or taken advantage of, until usually a health crisis causes us to look into this option.  For me, I had a baby just before I turned 40.  I lost the weight I had gained in pregnancy over several months and then the next summer - Bam!  Everything changed.  Within a three month period, I gained 20 lbs and a whole slew of emotional craziness I never knew before - I was angry, sad, or frustrated, no patience, stressed out, unhappy, always near a boiling point.  I didn't know what was happening.  I would be constantly in some kind of pain or with unbearable headaches.  It was awful.  For me and for anyone around me, including my precious little boys.  They didn't know why I would yell for no reason - I didn't know and then I'd cry with frustration and anger at myself for being so out of control.  What was happening to me?  I kept having to buy bigger clothes and that was painful too!  I felt ugly and was disgusted with myself.  What was wrong with me that I couldn't lose weight?  Why was I getting so fat so fast?

My doctor was not much help.  She blamed my hormones and age.  Said I must be eating more than I was honest about.  Said I needed to accept that maybe this was just my size.  When my blood tests came back that I was severely malnourished and had some strange numbers - she ordered more tests.  The only thing they could figure out was that my thyroid wasn't working properly and I was on the Celiac spectrum (I didn't even know a spectrum existed!).  She ordered Vitamin D and sunshine (I actually worked outside a lot so that theory was not quite right!)

In my own research and self-experiments, I found wheat was indeed a culprit.  I felt best when I ate Omni style (see Tana Amen's amazing book, The Omni Diet) of 70% plant based and 30% lean, grass fed, meats, eggs, and plant based fats.  Toxic foods out of my diet, I started to think clearly again and get back to my self.  But there was still a missing component.  I knew what to eat and was eating clean, whole, health creating foods but still stuck with all this extra weight on my body!

I needed help eating the right foods in the right amounts and working out to get my whole body into shape.  I don't have a lot of time on my hands and I am not good at long term commitments - enter 21 Day Fix!!!  My solution (from an awesome friend/coach) that would change my life.  No joke.

It took me a couple of months after I bought it to actually DO it.  I had results so fast - within a week an inch off my hips and three off my belly!  Say what???  30 minutes a day of exercise that left me feeling great, empowered, like I could do anything.  At first, I kid you not, I had to modify the warm up, I was in such bad shape.  But by the end of the 3 weeks, I was doing it!  So much progress with such a simple plan.  I was hooked.

I kept doing rounds every couple of months to get back into the shape I long for, while following the nutrition as a lifestyle.  A long vacation packed on some pounds (and a lot of amazing memories) - so another round of the Fix!  It's just my go to.

Eventually, my friend who got me into it, told me about becoming a coach when I bought a new program and finally tried Shakeology.  I had much faster results when using Shakeology (much to my dismay as I didn't want to love it!) and as an added amazing bonus - I didn't get sick for the months I had to teach little preschoolers from around the world how to ski.  That's the first time in 14 winters that I was healthy and flu-free.

On top of all that, I'm discovering financial freedom doing something I truly love & actually enjoy!  Doesn't that sound like a win?!  It sure feels like one.

I'm always looking for people who want these same dreams to join my team.  We have fun.  We help people.  I believe we have big destinies and I love being part of bringing that into reality for my team.  Calling out the gold.  Changing lives.  It's what we get to do!  And it's a great thing to be part of.  Let me know whenever you want in.  ;)

You can can always email yvette.trincado@gmail.com or visit me www.teambeachbody.com/yvettetrincado to select me as your coach, shop, or take the plunge and sign up to coach on my team!
